Elmo Birthday Party

A lot of younger children love Elmo. He is a very popular and lovable character from Sesame Street. Since chances are that you will be planning a party for a younger child if you (or your child) choose the Elmo party theme, you might want to keep this party simple with simple activities that the children will enjoy. I can't think of a better party activity than dancing! Younger children love to dance and will be thrilled to hear Elmo themed music such as this Elmo music CD. The really cool thing about this Elmo CD is that it can be personalized especially for the birthday child. Elmo sings songs with their name in it which will absolutely thrill and surprise them.

Another great activity idea is to make sugar cookies in the shape of Elmo and let the children decorate them with icing and candy. They can put Elmo's face on him. They can then either take their cookies home with them or eat them at the party.

The decorations for an Elmo party should be pretty easy. You can simply decorate in red! You can use a red tablecloth, red plates, red utensils, red balloons and red streamers. You can have a goldfish bowl with a goldfish in it to be Elmo's pet fish Dorothy as the centerpiece.
