Cinderella Party Ideas
Party Invitation Ideas
First of all, you'll need some great invitations for the Cinderella party. Consider sending out invitations in a scroll form as a "royal proclamation." It's easy to find scroll paper on the web as clipart that you can use to make up your own invitations. Of course if you aren't great at making invitations, many party stores actually carry invitations with the Cinderella party theme.
Ideas for Decorating
You'll need some Cinderella party ideas for decorating as well. You want to turn your home into a fairy tale land for this party. Check out a party store to see what party supplies are available in the Cinderella theme. Of course if you can't find any pre-made supplies, it's pretty do come up with your own. Go with the Cinderella colors, white and sky blue and use these colors to decorate for the party. If you have some cardboard, create a fake clock tower and have it striking midnight. Adding some pumpkins can really add to the theme décor as well. It's usually pretty easy to find pumpkins. Make them the perfect fairy coach by adding some glitter to them making them look like they just came from fairy land. Of course, you don't want to forget the party favors. These Cinderella candy wrappers are perfect for the occasion.
Ideas for Your Menu
Of course why not go ahead and use a Cinderella themed menu for the party as well. There are some great ways that you can make a party menu that is fit for a princess. Start out with pizza, but make it special by creating the pepperoni like it is the hands of a clock. Make sure you have the hands striking midnight. A cheese tray is a great idea as well, especially if you remember all the mouse friends that Cinderella had. Make a beautiful blue party punch by combining clear soda with blue Kool Aid for the perfect mix. Here is a beautiful Cinderella cake that you can make as the birthday cake.
Fun Games for the Cinderella Party
Games are definitely a part of a successful party and there are some great ones that can make the entire party a blast. One great idea is to have makeovers for the little princesses that attend the party. Purchase little princess costumes for the girls and have a blast having them all make each other over for the "ball." Another idea is to find several fake Cinderella style shoes. You may be able to find them at a party store or you can make them yourself. Hide several shoes around the party area. Make it like a treasure hunt where the person that brings back the most shoes is the one who wins the prize.
